I thought it was time all the dog lovers out there had something they could relate to as well ...Queen Victoria was apparently a huge dog fancier. She owned the first dachshund in England in the 1840s and later had another dachshund called Waldman IV who was reportedly "the very favourite dachshund of Queen Victoria".
