This set of shots for my shadow shot post were taken on a spring walk I had with my boyfriend not so long ago. This building is part of The Scots College which is a very well-to-do school for young men. It was established in 1893 and is situated on beautiful Bellevue Hill. All the school buildings have sweeping views of the harbour and heads which I would have found a bit distracting, particularly in my maths class! I liked the white clock tower against the blue blue sky and of course the lion emblem caught my eye as anything remotely feline always has my vote!
Shadow Shot Sunday is proudly brought to you by Hey Harriet! You too can join in - all you have to do is read the instructions here.
Terrific shadow shots for the day and I do LOVE your BLUE skies! Gorgeous! Hope you have a great weekend!

College buildings are great places for shadowy shots!
SHADOW, SHADOW
Shadow, shadow, if I could,
I would meet you in the wood,
Where the frenzied fairies play
In the blazing light of day.
But, dear shadow, I dare not
Go to that secluded spot,
For I fear the woodland path
And what’s more, the fairies’ wrath!

The Royal Standard lion is prancing and breathing fire - perhaps a testament to the hardy and brave Scottish character! This may be a prep school for the distinguished child. The building is simple and without pretense despite its clientele, a white color evokes the past. The students ought not look out the window, water or no...

Ooo very posh. We have a boys college here too called Scots College in a big brick building surrounded by sweeping green fields. My college was a lot more humbly situated but I loved it nonetheless :)
