This is my new art print: Stopping to Smell the Roses. It's very important to do this as regularly as possible, isn't it? You can get caught up in the day to day scramble to keep your head above water and forget about the loveliness of simple pleasures.
Speaking of simple pleasures, I have started walking to a bus stop which is a little further away in the mornings. I used to go to the nearest bus stop but the one further away means I get an extra small scenic tour of my pretty neighbourhood! It's about one minute longer but I can't tell you how happy it makes me feel and happy that I'm on the bus and happy that I'm off to work! It's all a bit of a mystery to me actually why I should be so content with that one minute of extra scenery but I'm not going to argue! :0)
Here's to a splendid week ahead!
He's adorable Sam and your morning commute sounds lovely... I'm a fan of scenic routes also.
Sending wishes for a great new week!

Sweet drawing! It's all about the little things & taking the time to notice them, and of course enjoy them! I understand about the extra joy a slightly longer walk can bring as I'm very fond of walking! People who drive everywhere may arrive to their destinations faster but they miss out on seeing so much! And of course walking has the added bonus of scoring some exercise and being all healthy :)
