What a lovely remembrance and reflection ... I loved that google mobile image.

... and how wonderful to see his work in Washington ... WOW! :)

Yay! That was fun seeing that as the Google icon. My mum bought has a Calder-type mobile which she brought back from her many travels so when I saw it on the Google search page I had to find out more.

I have just found your blog by chance! I have loved and followed your work on Etsy for sometime now and am so happy to see more of your world! Lovely blog!

And yes, it does feel like that section of The National Gallery was built just to house that wonderful Calder mobile, doesn't it? It was taken down and loaned to another museum a few years ago and the museum just wasn't the same without it (I used to live in Washington and spent as much time in both sections of The National as I could!)

Wishing you a most wonderful day!!

Betty
