For my shadow shot today I have a small window which belongs to The Conservatorium of Music. The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is a grand turretted gothic building that is on the edge of the Botanics. It was built in 1815 as "a Palace for horses" or stables for Government House which is nearby. The stables were redeveloped in 1915 into the music school. The shadows here are from one of the frangipani trees that grow in the area by the entrance.
Shadow Shot Sunday is a fab meme orchestrated (sorry!) by the lovely Tracy of Hey Harriet! If you'd like to see more shadowy shots from around the world go here. If you'd like to join in go here!
Happy Sunday everyone!
Given that it is a conservatory, I find these shadows to be most creative. Perhaps instead of a tree, I am seeing a jumbled mix of musical notes. I cannot tell though if the notes are leaving the conservatory - or trying to sneak in. A wonderful shadow!

Such a clean, sharp ShadowShot. I especially like the way the tree also reflects in the window glass. Have a good weekend.

I've read somewhere about the Conservatium and it's history as a royal stable! Really cool! Great looking building and your shadow shot is terrific! Hope your weekend is going well, Sam! Enjoy!

That's really pretty! The shadows have a musical feel to them! I'm always impressed by your knowledge of the history of Sydney Sam!
I hope you've enjoyed the weekeend so far.
I'm wondering if Woolloongabba and Woolloomoolloo are related in some way? Hmmm.... xo

This is a wonderful shadow shot! It's almost like there is a transparent layer of floral damask or brocade laid out on the wall. Lovely!
