Ah! I've been a little non-bloggy the past few days and shall try to make amends for that!
My weekend drawings are some dudes - more specifically they are Finches (ahem). They are actually really real finch types and if you click on the link that is their name you will find out their proper finchy name.
It is still cold city here in Sydney and the heater and electric blanket are really earning their keep let me tell you! I've been wearing layers of clothes too. Usually I wear four and sometimes even five layers of cardigans, jumpers, T-shirts, scarves, gloves (well glove - I seem to have lost one), tights and coats! Yes, I look like the Michelin man but by golly I am snug!

Your finches are brilliant. I think they're great. Have been seeing a lot of the little critters on our early morning national park walks.

awww...i love reggie!!! i love birds. not as much as i love kitties but close! i seen a cardinal the other day and was in awe. so pretty!

Those finches are gorgeous Sam! I layer up to the point of not being able to move. An awkward way to live through winter but at least a warm one. Although I've not had to layer up too much yet as we've only had a few really cold days so far. Winter in Sydney sounds fierce!
