This is my Shadow Shot for the week: Greycliffe House which is situated in Nielsen Bay Park. Built in 1851 it is a fine example of a Sydney Gothic mansion. Today it is the office for the Sydney Harbour South area of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. Below are some more photos of the property and terraced gardens.
It's such a beauty! I could totally up sticks and move there if it was absolutely necessary! Especially as this is the view you get from the house itself:
Not too shabby, is it? Ah yes! One can dream!
Shadow Shot Sunday is a Hey Harriet initiative! If you'd like to join in, here are the rules on how to do so.
I totally could live here! Anywhere named something "manor" or "chateux" basically. I love historic places like these and am really glad they've been preserved in NZ and Australia.

The lovely mansion had the delicate Victorian details that make the massive structure appear as a cute cottage, ready to be set into the woods. Ah perhaps the gentry lives with a waterview as well. It is a beautiful abode, too grand to refer to as a 'house'. Pretty shadows too!

Whoa! What a charming building and stunning views! Yeah I could manage to live there also if I really had to ;)
That first photo is fab. The way the sun is hitting the roof brings out the most awesome colour! Oh and the spiffy blue sky just sets it off perfectly!
You were out doing marathon walks today? Good for you! You have so many beautiful places to stroll in Sydney. One of my fave things is simply walking around exploring places. Even places I've been to a gazillion times!
Hope you have a great week Sam! Let's hope Monday passes quickly. And the rest of the week follows suit! xo

Hello. I hope this finds you doing well. I've been on a blogging hiatus since the beginning of the year, so it's been quite some time since I've been around to visit some blogs. I'm back from my break now. I wanted to make sure to visit your blog. I enjoyed checking out the latest posts on your blog. Great job. I'm back blogging now myself. I hope you'll take a look at what I'm doing. Thanks. Take care. Have a great week.
