Happy Monday! I can say that with gay abandon because my Monday - the worky bit anyway - is over and I'm now at home... and it's a good job too as I feel like I'm going to slide off the chair with tiredness - not sure what all that's about! It might have something to do with the humidity today which was extreme to say the least..
Here are my two weekend drawings: Reflecting Geisha and My Little Chickadee.
I had a spectacularly quiet weekend due to the fact that I spent most of it watching "The Mentalist" like a complete loony!! Anyway, I told myself that I was doing "research" (for what I don't know!) and thoroughly enjoyed myself. However, at the end of this glorious month, season three of Mad Men hits our DVD store and I literally cannot wait!! Although, whenever I say that my boyfriend says helpfully "Well you'll have to!" He has a point I suppose...
Happy week everyone!
P.S. Don't forget to enter the fabulous Kate Banazi giveaway which closes tomorrow evening!!
Your geisha is a sweetie especially in that outfit. There're some Mad Man tasters over on youtube.com

What a gorgeous Geisha dear Sam! I adore her expression and the new Japanese inspiration. I still have to watch Mad Men, never seen one episode and you and my sister are such fans that I know I'm missing out. Wishes for a wonderful new week!!!

I think chickadees may be my favorite bird (beside seagulls, bluejays and all species of ducks)! They are the cutest things.
Love the geisha! I would adore to have her on a set of dishes. Just gorgeous.

Quiet weekends are good because you're able to do drawings to share with us! The Geisha is a real beauty Sam!
The heat really knocks the wind right out of me & makes me very tired too. Monday was a shocker here, but atthe moment it's rainy & cooler. Happy rest of the week Sam xo

I love the colours your chose for the geisha's kimono. It suits her reflective mood, I think. I've only caught the Mentalist a couple of times on tv here but really enjoyed it. I should watch more!
