This is one of my drawings from the weekend drawing festival - well the festival I had in my apartment - it sometimes feels like a festival to me anyway! I'm really getting into the pinks at the moment. I love how they work with black. I think Coco Chanel had a thing for pink and black. This young gal's name is unknown to me but she is simply "Day Dreaming". I do quite a bit of day dreaming myself - I think it's an essential part of the day, don't you?
I also drew a small someone in dusky pink and pale green. This is an original drawing and is called "All dressed up and nowhere to go".
Meanwhile, Sydney has all of a sudden, after some very civilised nearly Autumnal days last week, decided to be very hot - sort of what I imagine the sort of "hot" hell might be perhaps. Although as well as the "hot" there is that old stand by "humid" as well. Ah! Thank you weather! Still, mustn't grumble, it won't be around forever as sweet Autumn is just around the corner...hopefully.
I hope everyone had a splendid weekend and here's to a fabulous week!
Daydreaming, love "soƱar despierta"...

I know. Hasn't the weather been miserable. I must step outside and see whether that southerly has blown through.
I am in your neck of the woods this week. Working from North Sydney. Are you close by? Thought I might be able to get in a G'day.

oh, i don;t know how you do it but every little bird you draw, I can;t help but fall in love. I love the name "all dressed up and nowhere to go" I feel like that a lot. I accesorize and dwell on my outfit even if it's just me and my dogs :)
