These are beautiful! I just love your shop!

I love the stories behind this, I think this si the first time I have been formally introduced to Fredrick!
I'm glad you are finding inspiration and drawing non-stop- that means a lot more inspiration for the rest of us :)

These are sooo beautiful and i enjoyed the stories behind each piece. So happy to know your finding inspiration and drawing non stop! Have a lovely merry happy day and love to you!

What a fantastic series - it never clicked there was a whole story behind these mermaids (or mermaidens, more likely?)

I've got some more of your prints back from the framers - will share on the weekend!

You are a great writer and your drawings are amazing!!

I love these! The scales are just beautiful.

Thank you Marsi! So glad I found your blog!

Yes, Diana, Fredrick is quite the handsome lad, no? I like drawing the mermaid series because it satisfies two parts of my brain: the part that loves pretty girls and the part that is very silly!

Thank you Jacqueline - you seem to be brimming with ideas too - I'm looking forward to seeing some of your finished pieces on your blog!

Ellen - you are too kind!! I look forward to seeing them!!

Wow! Diana! Thanks very much!

I'm so glad you like the scales Amelia - they are very labour intensive! :)

I love these drawings and your wild and crazy imagination! The funny little stories had me chuckling! "Crustacean Calisthenics Classes" ...haha! Brilliant Sam! And a knitting mermaid? That has to be a first! You're such a delightful and talented silly-nut ;D

Hi so good to check your blog again. You made a lot the last few weeks. Love the stories. Check back soon. Mika

Love the new additions!! I'm really fond of the idea of gossiping with a shrimp. :)

I think I'm in love with Invitation Only - what a fun illustration! :)

ah sam, you should do a book. i'd buy every single copy!

Gorgeous, darling! When are you going to turn this lovely story into a book? Stunning illustrations :)

Aww haha the Crustacean Calisthenics class sounds amazing. And I love that last illustration :) Oooh can't wait to hear more about the exhibition! Hope you're having a fabulous day :)

Omg Sam!! I'm so behind on your blog it's depressing... I miss my computer. I'm in LOVE with your new mermaid illustrations. Especially 'A quiet night in'... you're truly a genius. I'm such a fan. Will comment and visit more tomorrow.xo
