Happy Australia Day! This is a medley of mermaids. I thought the beach/ water theme was vaguely appropriate considering it's Australia Day. Meanwhile, here are three mermaid jokes you can wow your friends with at an Australia Day BBQ or your next gathering.
Q.Why did the mermaid swim across the ocean?
A.To get to the other tide.
Q.Why do mermaids always know how much they weigh?
Behold! The shy and elusive butterfly cat going about his business. The butterfly cat is seen here fluttering above his favourite type of flower: the mauve/ blue agapanthus (which happens to be flowering at the time of writing). A shy creature, the butterfly cat is rarely seen in the wild. However, if you would like to increase your chances of having one appear in your garden, I suggest you plant blue, purple and lilac coloured flowers, such as agapanthus, lavender bushes, jacaranda trees etc.
Following on from the last post (Grandmaster Kitten), we have another v.famous nightclub identity: DJ Stripe. DJ Stripe does not do spoken rhyming very much. Instead he likes mixing his favourite discs together in a melange of dance floor wonderfulness. Below are a list of his top five tunes he likes to spin:
1) Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
2) Tiger - Abba
3) What's new Pussycat? - Tom Jones
4) Taming the Tiger - Joni Mitchell
5) Tiger in the Spotlight - Emerson, Lake and Palmer
